The Commander of the Eritrean Air Force, Maj. General Teklai Habteselassie, received and held talks with the Chinese military delegation headed by the Army Commander of Nanjin province, Lieutenant General Z'hu Wen Kwan and the Deputy Political Commissioner of the Chinese Naval Force, Deputy Admiral Wu Huwayang.

Noting the exemplary Eritrean- Chinese relations, Maj. General Teklai expressed conviction that China would continue its cooperation in the nation-building process in Eritrea.

Lieutenant General Z'hu Wen Kwan said that Eritrea and China share similar outlook on regional and international issues. He also commended Eritrea?s support for an undivided China and to all its international dealings.

He further stated that it is the Chinese government's wish that the armies of both sisterly countries cooperate in different trainings programs.
